About Ta-Sean

The Center for Law and Justice, founded by Dr. Alice P. Green in Albany, New York, has long been a leading voice for criminal justice reform, civil rights, and community empowerment. In February 2025, Ta-Sean C. Murdock was appointed as Executive Director, carrying forward the organization’s mission to advance equity and justice across the Capital Region and beyond.

Murdock’s leadership is rooted in a deep commitment to amplifying community voices, expanding access to resources, and challenging systemic barriers. He has played a central role in shaping the Center’s future by strengthening programs in advocacy, education, and direct services, as well as developing new initiatives that respond to the evolving needs of Albany’s most vulnerable communities.

Known for his collaborative and community-driven approach, Murdock works closely with staff, volunteers, and local leaders to build bridges between institutions and the people they serve. His vision ensures that the Center for Law and Justice remains a trusted advocate and resource, carrying forward Dr. Green’s legacy while fostering new opportunities for justice, resilience, and lasting change.
