Celebrating MLK at the Alice Moore Black Arts & Cultural Center

Albany, NY - 1/15/2024 - Today, the Alice Moore Black Arts & Cultural Center sponsored by the Center for Law & Justice hosted The Kick-Off Celebration – Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and highlighting the future work of The Alice Moore Black Arts & Cultural Center.  The event featured a series of engaging activities, including: 

• Press event providing program/event updates. 

• "I have a dream” speech by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. LIVE performance by Willie White 

• Musical Performance of Civil Rights Songs 

• African American Flag Raising Ceremony
